Sushi Tie is a Japanese restaurant that has been in Bintulu since 11 November 2009. It was the only Japanese restaurant back then and I was the first few people who have to make a reservation to have a table as it was packed.

Fast forward to 9 years later, it still holds up pretty well against other Japanese restaurant like Niku, Sushi King and Nihon Bashi in Bintulu. Sushi Tie’s specialty is their sushi creation and by creation I mean they have more variety of sushi that I have never seen in other establishment and they are not shy at doing it pretty good. However I could not say the same for their other rice or noodle dishes. It taste alright and gets the job done but still could be better.

Overall after all these years, I still find myself back to Sushi Tie but my only recommendation is they could improve on their mild wasabi and they definitely need to have the conveyor belt sushi running.
