The Spring Bintulu was supposed to be opened in Mid November but was delayed due to construction work. However the good news is that from several close sources, the opening date might be around December 15 2018.
Shopping mall in Bintulu has been lacking especially new malls like Parkcity Commerce Square and Naim Paragon Street Mall which occupancy rate is still low. However The Spring Bintulu has been looking pretty good with tenants such as Parkson, Uniqlo, H&M, MBO Cinema, Padini (moved from Times Square Bintulu) and 40 other more tenants.
Although in the past few years Bintulu has grew due to the Samalaju project which has brought in foreigners and flourish the economy, there is no denial the standard of living in Bintulu has increased with prices of everything gone up drastically. With the new additional of a shopping mall with great management and tenant, this will be the popular spot to beat for many years to come.
